Tanya Feke, MD

As a mom, I have always taught my kids to be kind and to help others. I try to set by example. That’s one of the many reasons I founded Diagnosis Life, LLC. As a board-certified family physician, author, speaker, and patient advocate, I want to help you live a healthier and more balanced life.

After I received my Bachelor of Arts (1997) and Masters of Arts (1998) from Boston University, I graduated with a medical doctorate from UMass Chan Medical School (2003) and completed my residency training at the University of Connecticut (2006). I am currently board-certified in Family Medicine and hold medical licenses in California and New Hampshire.

Over my career, I have cared for patients on the front lines in primary care offices, in urgent care clinics, and in the homes of Medicare beneficiaries across New England. My experience has also taken me behind the scenes of the Medicare machine. In my current position, I consult with hospitals nationwide to prevent and overturn insurance denials.

With Diagnosis Life, I take it one step further. I share my expertise directly with you. As the best-selling author of Medicare Essentials: A Physician Insider Explains the Fine Print, I help people across the country make Medicare work for them. My goal is to not only help them get the best care at the best price but to encourage them to live healthy lives all around. Be sure to check out the educational content on Diagnosis Life and visit my content on Verywell.com and MedicareResources.org where I am the designated Medicare expert.
